WE’RE UNDER CONSTRUCTION!
We
rejoice in the knowledge that we’re
undertaking a building project that was
birthed with God’s instructions to
“build the church.” The process is
expected to take ten months. There may
be temporary inconveniences, but know
each step brings us closer to the day we
can celebrate with our whole community
the blessing of expanded classroom
space, new foyer, youth center for 220,
children’s theater for 150, commercial
kitchen and coffee shop.
CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS
-- The project is moving along with
great efficiency. This week they poured
concrete for the stem walls. The storm
drainage system is 75% complete. The
best news of all is that we now have the
next phase of our building permit!
Remodeling of the foyer and nursery area
begins shortly.
Nursery Relocation
— This is our last weekend in the
current nurseries. Starting October 18 &
19 nurseries will be moved to the lower
level of the Hub building. Bring your
little ones down the ramp to the back
door area check-in station and receive
your pagers. Toddlers will be in HL2 and
babies will be in the former “Grounds
For Faith” room. Both rooms are
rearranged to accommodate your child’s
needs and already have access to
bathrooms.
Room HL2
— With the relocation process, all
classes that used Room HL2 will find a
new space to meet. Check with your
teacher. A substitute classroom has been
prepared in the bus garage as an option.
Safety
Reminders:
· Children
of all ages MUST be picked up from
classes.
· Lower
floor entrance: enter the building
through Room 131. You may also access
this area from the Sanctuary through the
upper annex, down the stairs and into
Room 131.
· Drinking
water dispenser is available in the
foyer.
· Restrooms
are available in the portable
trailer,
plus two honeybuckets near the double
doors downstairs.
· Valet
parking is available for those who need
it. · Vehicles
may not drive on the fire lane.
· Red
DANGER tape and Yellow CAUTION tape are
never to be crossed.
· Please
keep kids away from construction areas.
· The
main building is a “hard hat area” and
there is absolutely
no
admittance
Monday-Friday. Please do not approach
the grounds.
· During
weekend services certain areas may be
restricted or closed as work progresses.
Thank you in advance for being flexible
when class locations are subject to
change.
