Pastor Tony Long-Drew Worship Arts Pastor

As a foster child, Tony was born and raised in Washington D.C. and adopted at the age of fourteen. Tony received the call into Music and Counseling ministry as a Junior in high school. He pursued his calling at Northwest University where he was involved in creating and leading many music public relations ministry teams. He graduated with a MA in Psychology Counseling, BA in Biblical Studies and Psychology, and a minor in church music.

After college, he taught special education working with students who needed a helping hand and lots of encouragement. The best part of his journey after receiving Jesus as his Lord and Savior, was meeting his wife, Amy. She is a pastor’s daughter with a heart to see others happily fulfilled. Tony says, “We are truly molded together by our love for the Lord, our genuine love for others, as well as our love for each other. We desire to be involved in the lives of those we minister with and the ones who need the love of Christ.”

At FAL, Tony leads our Worship Arts Department, providing leadership for all worship teams, choirs, ensembles and other musical special events.

Tony’s hobbies are biking, reading leadership books, spending quality time with friends and family, enjoys some shopping with his wife, and finally he loves to sing, sing, sing!

Tony’s favorite saying is “you only have one shot at making a great, long lasting first impression.”
