Planted the first Pentecostal
church in Northern Japan. They have been in Japan
for over 11 years. The church has grown and their
ministry has changed. In the beginning it was almost
exclusively outreach. Outreach remains a priority,
but taking care of the needs of their church require
a major portion of their time. In January 2007, they
were able to purchase land for their church at an
unbelievable price. They hope to begin construction
in the summer of 2008. They have had some sad news,
Ron’s mother passed away in October after a long
battle with cancer. She is at home with the Lord.
Ron was able to attend the funeral and is in the
states now for several weeks to help his dad move
from Onalaska to Oregon (to live with his sister).
The family is holding down the fort in Japan.

formal/informal training. In recent years, they have
begun pioneer work with the urban poor, developing a
house church network and ministries to children in a
series of slum communities in Bangkok. They just
returned to Thailand in September after six months
of itinerating in the U.S.
