"Make the church aware of the need
-- make the world aware of the message"

Prayer Focus for November 2007

Ron & Debbie Galbreath
Japan

Planted the first Pentecostal church in Northern Japan. They have been in Japan for over 11 years. The church has grown and their ministry has changed. In the beginning it was almost exclusively outreach. Outreach remains a priority, but taking care of the needs of their church require a major portion of their time. In January 2007, they were able to purchase land for their church at an unbelievable price. They hope to begin construction in the summer of 2008. They have had some sad news, Ron’s mother passed away in October after a long battle with cancer. She is at home with the Lord. Ron was able to attend the funeral and is in the states now for several weeks to help his dad move from Onalaska to Oregon (to live with his sister). The family is holding down the fort in Japan.

Allen & Lynette Johnson
Thailand

They have lived in Thailand for the past 20 years planting churches and being involved in various forms of formal/informal training. In recent years, they have begun pioneer work with the urban poor, developing a house church network and ministries to children in a series of slum communities in Bangkok. They just returned to Thailand in September after six months of itinerating in the U.S.

Michael & Dawn Marie Helin

Spain

Michael and Dawn Marie were music directors at Bethany Christian Assembly in Everett, WA when they answered the call from the Lord to go into the mission field. They have four children: Mikayla, Danika, Kimberlyn and Levi. They have been in the U.S. raising funds to return to Madrid, Spain for another four years where they are serving on International Media Ministries (IMM). IMM’s mission is to support the evangelical church in developing a global witness of Jesus Christ through Media.
