  FAL's Core Values

"To promote successful living and help people get to heaven."

  1. ENCOUNTERS WITH GOD are part of the Christian life.  Salvation, healing, baptism in the Holy Spirit, prophecy and personal revelations all contribute to a rich relationship with the Living God.   We want to create environments where the Holy Spirit can freely minister in supernatural ways.
  2. AUTHENTICITY is an attitude of the heart but it’s never static.  Hypocrisy, inconsistency and pretension must constantly be rooted out as we cultivate the Christian life.
  3. ANOINTED TEACHING is the primary catalyst for personal growth and changed lives.  As the gospel is presented in the power of the Holy Spirit, people's lives will continue to develop.
  4. LEADERSHIP and MINISTRY  are God's framework for the church. Gifted leadership provides opportunity, direction and encouragement for every believer to use God-given gifts in service to others and to live a life of significance.  Jesus modeled servant leadership, mentoring and team-building as examples of how to equip the saints for the work of ministry. "Every member a minister with a ministry" is the New Testament mandate.
  5. INNOVATION and CULTURAL RELEVANCE are important because lost people matter to God. Effective missions strategy demonstrates that we must speak the language of a culture to communicate our message.  To be innovative is to get people’s attention.  To be culturally relevant is to "speak the language."   We believe this can be done without compromising the Scriptures.
  6. LIFE CHANGE HAPPENS BEST IN SMALL GROUPS.  God’s design is that we best live out our faith in community.  Small groups allow us to make deeper friendships, receive and give pastoral care and grow spiritually as we encourage and challenge one another.
  7. EXCELLENCE honors God and inspires people.  All that we do should be "to the glory of God," and therefore of the best possible quality.
